Mark Roberts, the game director of 'Path of Exile', unveils a new ascendant class in the 'Last Druid' update, the Varashta Disciple, a character not showcased during the initial launch livestream. Varashta, a former leader of the Malax, continues to harness giants within the trials of Scikma, offering players an intriguing challenge. The Varashta Disciple is described as a 'summoner's buffet', capable of summoning up to three distinct giants, each with unique abilities. Among these are the formidable fire giant 'Ruzhan, the Flame Blade', the assassin giant 'Klarith, the Shadow Blight', and the blessed water giant 'Navira, the Final Illusion'. These giants are summoned through a resource known as giant spirit coins, only appearing at the player's command and obeying their directives. Each giant comes with an initial command skill, and players can customize each with up to three additional skills, allowing for a wide variety of tactical approaches. Players may opt to unleash devastation by fully unlocking Ruzhan and Klarith or take a more traditional spellcaster approach by utilizing Navira for mana restoration and energy shields. Klarith can be employed to enhance critical strikes against enemies, offering a range of tactical options for the player.
